It has finally arrived the first dance class after the Christmas holiday. Kennedy has been waiting for anticipation for this day since she left her last dance class on December 7th. Usually it takes me at least 5 minutes in the morning to convince her to get dressed for the day so we can go out and do something fun. Today was an exception. This is how the conversation and event went for the day.
Mommy: "Kennedy do you want to get dressed for dance class?"
(Running or I meaning sprinting from the downstairs to the upstairs screaming...)
Kennedy: "Dance class, dance class, dance class!! Can I wear my leotard? Can I wear my tights? What shoes will I wear? Are we going now?"
Mommy: "yes, yes, dancing slippers and we have to go after we get ready and you eat breakfast"
Kennedy: "Ok, mommy can I eat breakfast in the car on the way to dance class?"
Mommy: "We have enough time for you to eat at home you don't need to eat in the car"
Kennedy: "Ok, I just want cereal this morning pancakes take to long."
Needless to say Kennedy was so excited and loved every minute dance class this morning. She can't wait to go back next week.
